Mark "Coach" Soto has been a licensed mortgage professional since 2000. Coach Soto has received his nickname of "Coach" because of his longstanding reputation as a High School Football Coach for the past 15 years. Most recently as Defensive-Line Football Coach for the Granite Bay High School Grizzlies. Also, his clients call him "Coach" because of his loan business & coaching philosophy, which involves developing a "Complete Personal Financial Game Plan." Coach Soto loves having fun with clients and likes to make the mortgage process simple to understand . He wants to ensure his clients don't leave our office scratching their head. The response Coach receives from his calming and fun demeanor is overwhelming and leaves clients coming back and referring him for years to come. Coach runs his business 100% by referral . And believes in not spending money for advertising. He believes if you are good, knowledgeable, honest and ethical people will want to refer you.
Before opening The Home Loan Coach, "Coach Soto" had achieved "Top Performer" status and was made an "Honorary Partner Club Member" of a large mortgage finance firm in Roseville , Ca. By the name of American Pacific Mortgage. While employed with "APM" Coach Soto also worked in developing an in-house lending operation for Keller-Williams/Northern California .
Before becoming a mortgage professional , Coach Soto was a VP of Sales/Marketing and Executive Account Manager for several Fortune 500 firms in the Bay Area for 20 years. His professional background also includes a short stint as a Police Officer from 1980-82 with the Los Gatos Police Dept. Coach Soto is a current member of the Granite Bay Rotary, a past member of the Granite Bay High School Booster Organization, is an active board member of a coaches organization by the name of "Character Combine" which instructs and teaches coaches on how to teach character to the young athlete, and he is actively involved with the ESF School Foundation and many community projects.

On a personal note Coach has been married for 25 years to his wife Teresa. She currently is employed as a "business coach" and helps assist local businesses in managing their growth wisely and responsibly. Coach Soto has three children. A daughter, Danielle who is 25 and is employed in the housing finance industry. His son , Joshua is currently serving in the United States Marine Corp. Joshua has been married for two years and recently gave Coach Soto his first grand baby"Kylee". Joshua, Alisha and Kylee currently reside in San Diego,CA. Last but assuredly not least Coach Soto has another son, Benjamin . He is 19 and currently serving in the United States Army. Both boys are currently deployed in Iraq. God Speed… |
